Tangible Hires Sarah Buckler as CEO to Lead Agency into Next Era

Tangible

We are thrilled to announce that Sarah Buckler has joined Tangible as CEO. Previously, Sarah served as General Manager, Global Craft & Client Operations, for design and innovation company Huge. James Young, one of Tangible’s three founders and sole owner, will formalize his role as Founder and Creative Chairman. Sarah has been working with our team behind the scenes for several weeks, providing rapid leadership to evolve our internal operations, client partnerships, delivery processes, and brand identity. In her new post, she will be directly responsible for all aspects of our business, ensuring that we continue to deliver the partnerships and results that our clients have experienced over the last two decades, while also pushing for more innovative programs that drive real results that brands and their consumers will feel.

“Tangible was founded more than 25 years ago because I wanted to use my creative vision and execution to help as many companies as possible change the way they move the needle for their businesses,” says James. “As we’ve continued to grow–with new and existing clients–so has our need for the right leadership. Sarah is a doer. She knows what this team needs, how to get it done, and where to take us next. Her vision for Tangible’s future marries seamlessly with mine and I am thrilled to move the company forward together into this next era.”

“Tangible has so much potential–it almost seemed too good to be true,” says Sarah. “I was immediately moved by the team’s combination of humility and continuity–internally and in their client relationships. Tangible has impressed some of the world’s biggest brands time and time again, but the agency has never before harnessed that energy to shine a light on itself. I’m honored to become a part of this team and to lead us to new heights.”

With Sarah at the helm, we’re positioning for more aggressive growth in the coming months with a “right people, right time” mentality, including adding several senior-level members to the team this year. To help set the stage, Tangible’s new brand identity system is rolling out in phases with an updated color palette, fresh typeface, and messaging that reflects where our agency is headed while also honoring everything that our team has accomplished.
